DEFINITION OF CONSOLE AND REASON ON WHY SONY CREATED PLAYSTATION

A video game console is a device that outputs a video signal or visual image to display a video game. The term video game console is used to distinguish a console machine primarily designed for consumers to use for playing video games in contrast to arcade machines or home computers. In other words, a console game is also a form of interactive multimedia used for entertainment especially at home. The player interacts with the game through a controller or joystick or even a handheld device that consists with analogs, buttons, touchpad and so on. Each of the buttons has been assigned a purpose for interacting with and controlling the images on the screen. Therefore, an output such as AV cable primarily used to produce a sound and visual effect on the television screen but for consoles that support 1080i and 1080p such as PS3, PS4, XBOX360 and XBOXONE, should be recommended to use HDMI cable that exposed a better graphics. Sony widely spread the idea by creating product that assumed as source of entertainment at home. Literally, the idea was succeed as they managed to produce a home gaming console for the customers in fulfilling their desire and use them in pleasurable time. Moreover, this kind of device functioned well to the consumer where they able to feel what it is like to be lived in virtual world. For instance, luxury cars, purchase items with a lots of money, shooting, sports and so on.
